Georgian pianist Luka Okros joins forces with incredible Russian cellist Anastasia Kobekina to perform some of the most passionate music ever written for cello and piano at the Southbank Centre. Since their successes, both have carved out exciting performance careers as chamber musicians, soloists and recording artists. This time exploring all-Russian repertoire, including works by Stravinsky, Prokofiev and Rachmaninov.

The BBC New Generation Artist and the Bronze medallist of the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition continues to conquer prestigious European venues, debuting, among the others, with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Konzerthaus Orchestra Berlin.
Winner of the Hong Kong International Piano Competition and the Valencia Iturbi Prize International Competition Luka Okros performed in more than forty countries. His performance has been praised by the Guardian's Observer as “An impressive display of virtuosic pianism”. Luka's Instagram with 63K followers is very popular among the admirers of classical music. After graduating from the London Royal College of Music and the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, the Art Council of England has granted him the Exceptional Talent Visa. Luka is based in London.
In 2020 Anastasia and Luka will appear together in European capitals including Southbank Centre in London, Amsterdam’s Het Concertgebouw, Musiikkitalo of Helsinki, Salle Cortot in Paris, as well as collaborate on several live recordings for BBC Radio 3 and Radio France Musique.
